Do I Qualify for WAIS Membership?

1. Membership Region

Are you currently an MD practicing in a state or province within the WAIS Region? (15 Western States & BC Canada)

If Yes, then proceed to #2

2. Board Certified MD

Are you a Board Certified MD practicing in the field of Interventional Radiology for at least 2 years?

If Yes, then proceed to application

If you meet the above criteria, follow these steps to submit an application:

Email your CV

Step 2

Submit application online.

Membership Application

Step 3

Pay application fee.

An invoice will be generated upon

submittal of your application.

Membership applications typically take no more than 1-2 weeks. If approved, you will be notified by email, your membership status will be activated and you will begin enjoying benefits immediately. Your application fee will be transferred to your annual dues for the current year.

Membership applications are reviewed from November 1st to May 31st. If your application is received in the months leading up to the conference (June-Sept), it will be held until November.

SUSPENDED MEMBERS

If you have previously been awarded a WAIS membership but have received a suspension notice due to a lapse in dues payment, please do not submit a new application. To inquire about your membership status please contact WAIS at susan@westernangio.org.

NON-MEMBERS

If you do not qualify for membership, WAIS will refund your membership applications (if submitted) minus a $50 processing fee. Non-members are invited to attend the annual conference while space is available. Non-member registration is opened on April 1st and early bird discounts apply until June 1st.
